Focus AreaThe Second Chance Act (SCA) Community-based Reentry Program supports organizations and tribal governments providing comprehensive reentry services to individuals who have been incarcerated. With this solicitation, BJA seeks applications for funding from community-based non-profit organizations and federally recognized tribal governments to enhance or implement evidence-based responses to improve reentry, reduce recidivism, and support successful transitional planning for individuals who are currently, or were formerly, involved in the criminal justice system.
