In Texas there’s no one-size-fits-all way to partner and coordinate, but there are regional approaches to our shared challenges and opportunities.

The Texas Association of Regional Councils (TARC) is the statewide association of Councils of Governments (COGs). The 24 regional councils are comprised of city, county, and special district members working together to implement cost-effective, results-oriented strategies that address needs on a regional scale.

Watch for an overview of how regional councils step up for rural communities – and how we can partner with TARC and regional councils to better serve our rural regions.
