The Texas Demographic Center (TDC) is the focal point for the distribution of Census Bureau information for Texas, serving as a primary resource for the state legislature, local governments, and nonprofits about how our state is changing. Part of the Bureau’s State Data Center (SDC) partnership program, the TDC analyzes demographic trends throughout Texas, from a statewide perspective down to regional, city and county-level patterns.

TRF and the team from TDC offer an overview of the demographic trends occurring across the state and an introduction to the data on rural Texas. This data will help the public and nonprofit sectors understand how our communities are changing – and where they might go from here.
