Build Healthy Places Network (BHPN) is a national nonprofit working to transform the way organizations work together across the health, community development, and finance sectors. Their Playbook for New Rural Healthcare Partnership Models of Investment is an action-oriented guide to pursuing partnerships in rural areas and small towns, sharing rural case studies from across the country about how healthcare organizations are working alongside economic development partners to invest in community health. BHPN’s newest project, Rural Equity Action Labs, is creating regional cohorts of health coalitions to advance community development skills and strategy.
