Eligible Entities
To be eligible for funding applicant organizations must: 1) Be a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and 2) Provide programs and services directly benefiting Bexar County and the residents of the surrounding seven contiguous counties (Atascosa, Bandera, Comal, Guadalupe, Kendall, Medina, and Wilson).
Focus Area
The purpose of the Collaborative Grants cycle is to promote innovation and support deep partnerships between multiple organizations working toward collective impact at program, neighborhood, or policy levels. Eligible project categories include:
1) Discrete Programs: For program providers looking to innovate and/or deepen key partnerships. Requires 3+ institutional partners (MOU and/or Letters of Support). Provides up to 1 year of funding with a maximum award of $75,000.
2) Community Collaboratives: For backbones of ongoing partnerships with projected impact at the neighborhood level or greater. Requires 3+ institutional partners (MOU or Letters of Support). Provides up to 1 year of funding with a maximum award of $200,000.
