Focus Area

The Rural Community Health Fund is designed to invest in the people and places of rural central Texas. The ultimate goal is to uplift vulnerable and marginalized rural communities, nurturing the capacity needed to create conditions where all residents can thrive and achieve wellness. Funding for the initial grant cycle is designed to invest in the people, places, and initiatives servicing Bastrop, Caldwell, East Williamson, and Hays County. These grants are designed to support community-based organizations, resident-led community networks, and grassroots initiatives that align with RCHF's mission and objectives. Grants from the RCHF initiative will range from $1,000 to $25,000 and prioritize supporting projects that address disparities in healthcare access and outcomes, with a particular focus on marginalized rural populations and vulnerable communities.
