Eligible EntitiesQualified 501(c)(3) public charities or public entities serving the people of Texas. Proposals must benefit the state of Texas in order to be considered, although an organization’s headquarters are not required to be in Texas.
Focus AreaThe Meadows Foundation provides grants throughout the state within their program areas: 1) Arts & Culture, 2) Civic & Public Affairs, 3) Education, 4) Environment, 5) Health, and 6) Human Services. Specific programs or projects account for almost 85% of the Foundation's total giving. Up to 50% of the Foundation's giving is focused on the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The Foundation gives priority review and consideration to projects aligned with their strategic initiatives: postsecondary completion, educator preparation, water conservation, depression, and homelessness.
