Focus Area The purpose of the Foster Youth Internship Initiative is to create Internship opportunities specifically designed for Foster Youth. These Internships will provide participants with paid, on-the-job experience, skills development, and Supportive Services to increase their self-sufficiency and prepare them for successful careers. The Initiative will support collaborations between organizations serving Foster Youth, workforce development entities, educational institutions, and employers to create effective Internship models.
