Eligible EntitiesFire departments, Law enforcement, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), public safety organizations, non-profits and schools.
Focus AreaFirehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation providesfunding for lifesaving equipment and prevention education tools to first responders and public safety organizations. Grant awards may be used to: 1) Provide first responders with lifesaving equipment; 2) Provide prevention education tools to the public about the importance of public safety in order to prevent disasters in the home and community; 3) Provide financial resources or continued education to individuals pursuing a career in public safety; 4) Provide assistance and resources during and after natural and man-made disasters such as fires, tornadoes, hurricanes, etc.; and 5) Benefit men and women of the military who have served their country in any of the branches of the United States Uniformed Services. Only 600 applications will be accepted per quarter, so applicants are encouraged to apply early. Rural applicants must be within 60 miles of a Firehouse Subs restaurant.
