Eligible Entities
To be eligible for a grant from the Dollar General Literacy Foundation, applicants must be a nonprofit organization as determined by the IRS, a public library, school, or college providing direct literacy services within a state that Dollar General Corporation operates in and whose organization address is within 15 miles of a Dollar General store.
Focus Area
Nonprofit organizations who support the whole family in literacy and are seeking funding are encouraged to apply if they provide all of the following: Adult Education Instruction; Children’s Education; and Parent and Child Together Time (PACT).
