Eligible Entities
Eligible Applicants under this RFA include: a) Texas independent school districts; b) Public junior colleges in Texas (as defined by Texas Education Code § 61.003(2)); c) Public technical institutes in Texas (as defined by Texas Education Code § 61.003(7)); or d) Public state colleges in Texas (as defined by Texas Education Code § 61.003(16)). Applications submitted under Section 3(a), Applicant Eligibility Requirements, must attest to an established partnership between a school district and a college.
Focus Area
The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) is seeking applications from eligible applicants to purchase, repair, or replace equipment that supports new or existing Dual Credit programs. Eligible equipment must support Dual Credit Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs that: a) lead to an industry-recognized license, credential, or certificate; b) are supported by at least one Texas employer; and c) prepare students for target occupations identified by the Local Workforce Development Board (LWDB).
