Eligible Entities Community-based organizations within Digitunity's national network. Minimum of 55 individual learners served through in-person, facilitator-led instruction. Maximum of 18 learners per workshop, with each session running at least 45 minutes. Each participant should have access to their own computer during the workshop
Focus Area Digitunity is working in collaboration with community-based organizations within its national network to offer digital skills workshops in communities that are most affected by the digital divide with workshops designed for learners who are new to the basics of computer use. All instructional materials are provided, along with a small stipend to cover or offset the cost of making the workshops more accessible to individuals who otherwise would not be able to attend. Curriculum developed by the Public Library Association and AT&T includes Computer Basics, Email, Cybersecurity and more and is available in both English and Spanish.
