Eligible EntitiesNonprofit organizations that hold a tax exemption under Internal Revenue Code Section (501) (c)(3) or qualify under Code Section 170(c)(1) or (c)(2)(B). Services funded must benefit the Foundation's 5-county area: Lubbock, Hockley, Yoakum, Cochran and Terry counties.
Focus AreaThe mission of The CH Foundation is to significantly improve human services and cultural and educational opportunities for the residents of the South Plains of Texas. The Foundation supports initiatives, driven by innovative, energetic leadership that are designed for long-term viability. Grants will be limited to organizations whose services benefit Lubbock, Texas and the surrounding area of Lubbock (Lubbock, Hockley, Yoakum, Cochran, and Terry counties). Broad program interests that can be funded are: agriculture and ranching, community and neighborhood improvement and development, cultural, education, health, human services, research, youth services.
