To be eligible for a grant from the Dollar General Literacy Foundation, applicants must be a nonprofit organization as determined by the IRS, a public library, school, or college providing direct literacy services within a state that Dollar General Corporation operates in and whose organization address is within 15 miles of a Dollar General store.
Focus Area
This program awards funding to organizations that provide direct services to adults in need of literacy assistance in one of the following areas: Adult Education Instruction; GED or high school equivalency preparation; and English Language Acquisition.
